I've just watched that video in the 1st post. A good way to achieve the shot. But what's that music? It sounds like someone playing their armpit parp......

That fellow needs to learn some rope craft!

Surely a digiscope bracket, which keeps the camera aligned to the binos/scope, would be a far better method. If you are going through all that faffin' about, shugglin' binos and camera, it would be easier to make a bracket.

Thanks for posting - gives some nice inspiring ideas for having a go at bino photos. But I'm not sure about the video. Like yeti monster says, I don't think I'd get on a raft that guy had lashed together. Or let him tie my bins to a mic stand.
