3rd March 2011 - First acceptable Saturn session

After several poor sessions with a x2 barlow lens equipped (giving 400x magnification I believe - evidently too much in my locale at the moment) I immediately got a greatly better result not bothering with one.

The results are attached below but I'm curious now about trying with a x1.6. If I get a decent opportunity and result in the near future I'll add them here.

I just realised the cause of all my imaging woes. It wasn't that I couldn't use a x2 barlow, it's that there was a second one in there I'd forgotten all about. Should make for a good story in a failure thread.
