What do you use to wipe the lens?

My bins arrived this morning and obviously had been sitting in the Fed Ex warehouse as they were freezing when I recieved them and missed up - I wiped the lens with my glasses wipe but thought after I may have done wrong, so I am wondering what you actually use to wipe your lens?

For binos, eyepieces & refractors, I use (very carefully) a microfibre cloth (from Jessops)

Check for any grit/debris before use. For a more thorough clean, I add

a small amount of isopropyl alcohol (good chemist) to the cloth. You can finish off

by 'huffing' the lens before wiping.

Optics can look very grotty before it affects the view, so I never rush to clean them.

Best regards, Ed.
