RA motor drive help

Can someone confirm the correct procedure for disengaging the RA motor drive so that you can use the fine adjustment cable?

Which screws do you loosen - is it one or both of the screws on the black flexible tube or the hex screw that holds the metal plate?

I loosened the screw on the flex tube which was furthest from the actual motor drive first and it snapped the damn thing

Unless you have a single speed RA drive you should not disconnect the drive from the RA shaft. To slew the telescope, disengage the clutch and move the telescope to its new direction, then reengage the clutch and use the RA drive for other minor corrections.
