Moon mosaic

Took this last night, 21 pane mosaic, could have cried when i seen the clouds were rolling in. to end my night. take with 10" meade lx90 in alt/az, does anyone else find it tricky to do mosaics in alt/az? think i prefer it on an eq mount as the image isnt as jumpy and is easier to focus.

Well done with that from an alt-az! Very tricky indeed - at least with an Eq you can use one axis as your baseline!

Yes, field rotation can make mosaicing hard, this would be the case even if the tracking of your altaz mount was perfect.
