Nagler type2

Hi all I have just orded a 16mm tele vue nagler type 2, dose any body know about this EP, I know nagiers are good but how is this one.

In my opinion an excellent eyepiece. I have used one on many occasions. They stopped making it quite some years ago so I bought the 17mm. I have an observing buddy who uses one and in my view it compares well to the 17mm.

Here is a good article on the type 1, type 2 and zoom naglers. I've owned the 4.8mm and 7mm type 1's but no type 2's. They have a lot of fans out there so I'm sure you will enjoy it. The price of that one was very good I thought :

You may have a problem though - it will give you a taste for more !.

I don't think my bank balance can take much more of this (£600 HUSS) in three weeks.

If it's any consolation I doubt it will loose any value, if you keep it in good nick. If you wanted to sell it on at some point in the future I reckon you would get your investment back pretty much 100%.
