What were your camera settings??

Try some longer exposures at different iso's, take about 10-15 at around 800 iso. Then download a free programe called Deep Sky Stacker. The program does what it says, stacks deep sky images!

Load em up and have a play, you'll be amazed what these cameras can do!!

The Pliedes was F 5.6 3secs exp ISO 1600

Orion F10 13 secs exp ISO 1600

Moon F10 shutter 1/100 ISO 100

I have got DSS but only managed to get a few images because of

clouds
