Cancer56
Hi, I own a 400d which I have the adapter to connect to my spotter scope, this is a T adapter 42mm thread. This obviously does not fit my Sky-watch 127, what else, or what adapter do I require.Any help please?
Revs
Personally, I use the T-ring adapter with one of these and mount the camera directly in the back of the OTA..
jgs001
I'm surprised at that, as the Skymax102 has a T thread fit on the rear of the tube. You should be able to just screw the T ring directly to the rear of the scope, which should help reduce vignetting a bit.
Cancer56
Thank's Rev, will be obtaining or purchasing one of these very soon. Oh yes the pictures look good.

You should be able to just screw the T ring directly to the rear of the scope, which should help reduce vignetting a bit.It can be done, but I think it required a couple of adapters. I think Bern at MA said a Mak thread to SCT thread adapter, then a SCT to T-ring adapter, but I might be wrong. I like this method though as it's a seconds job swapping to the webcam
jgs001
The Skymax 102, it just screws straight on the back. I've done it. Try it and see...
vds
The other advantage with this adaptor though is you can stick a filter on the end to protect your canon's sensor.vds
