Skymax 150 Pro on EQ3-2 Mount

Long story cut short. I bought an IM603 a few years ago. At the time I had an EQ3-2 mount which why I now own a HEQ5 Pro. The EQ3-2 just about manged the IM603 but there was a lot of wobble when the telescope was touched. The Skymax and the IM603 weigh about the same and the HEQ5 is very stable with either telescope attached. The weight rating for the EQ3-2 is about 12lbs (5.44kgs) which less than the weight of the Skymax (5.6kgs not including diagonal etc.). The minimum mount needed for the Skymax is the EQ5.

I wondered this myself if the 150 pro would work on that mount, but whilst I was considering to post in this forum I read somewhere that even the 127 mak is pushing it for the mount... mind you, thats what I got sitting here now nice and new waiting to be used!
