little dumbell and cigar galaxy

first go with the 14" last night managed 4 hours before the dew set in i used the 7mm for both im finding it easy the more mag as you have less stars to worry about lol and advice welcome as this is my second attempt

M82 the cigar looks mightily impressive. You've captured some fine detail in that drawing.

The drawings do look quite faint on my screen though. I don't know how it looks for other people? It might be worth playing around with the brightness settings for the image in some image management software on your PC to see if you can get a brighter representation of them.

Excellent sketches ! I like drawings because they show people what telescopic objects look like visually, unlike photographs. Like 'darker sky' I'd like to see them a bit clearer and larger if poss.

I really like the cigar galaxy! The detail is very impressive. The little dumbell is good to but it is harder to see the detail. Definitely prefer the second set of pics : )
