uncloudy skies tonight?

Firstly I apologise for any cloudy skies, it's my fault because I got my first telescope today from Rother Valley Optics. I was going to get the Skymax supatrak 127 but it seems to be out of stock everywhere so I HAD:) to upgrade to the Synscan goto. The 20% VAT was a shocker!

I have been assembling it this afternoon but I must get some batteries or power supply!

It has computer control capability the instruction book says planetarium software can be used to conrol it but I guess that is not Stellarium?

Congratulations on your new scope.

If you have stellarium that should work for controlling the scope. Don't use it myself so cannot provide details, but plenty on here do/will be able to.

Aha, so it's your fault that we've only had about 41% of our normal sunshine is it? - Phew, thought it was mine!

You can still obviously use Stellarium as well -download it here
