Is anything happening in North Kent?

I really do need to meet up with some knowledgeable people in the North Kent area who can feed my astronomy appetite. I have a Tal1 on which I have experimented with simple digital astrophotography and, as another of my hobbies is photography, I am leaning heavily towards this aspect of astronomy. Sad thing is, you can only gain so much knowledge through reading and experimenting. Is there a club of any description in the North Kent area where I can gain some experienced users advice? Answers on a post card - frustrated of Rochester.
