Little Saturn, still beautiful

Saturn through my 8in Dob afocally with a little point and shoot camera from a few weeks ago at 48X. looked a lot better then what the camera does justice. o well, ill soon have my new t-ring for my Canon!

Nice capture with what you had to hand, i often like shots like this as it gives the "pale blue dot" effect...the cosmos is HUGE.

Thanks, and good point, there is a PBD appeal. Its even more awesome when you think that Sagan's PBD was taken of Earth as the voyager craft was passing Saturn. Huge cosmos; the Astronomical understatement! The 7.5mm eyepiece I ordered is due any day now; i cant wait for the view!
