CG-5 GOTO Help

If the servo work on similar principles to an RC servo motor some form of pulse proportional control is used, and depending on the frequency the pulses are sent could be amplified by the OTA.

Thanks loads for the update and successful modification. I wondered myself about the OTA magnifying what was already a problem. Now it appears I have the most annoying OTA for this issue as well I look forward to any pics

I've been thinking about swapping my 6se goto mount for a CG-5 I've just seen a video of a CG-5 mount and it is bloomin loud. Is it a lot louder than the 6se mount?

I don't know what the 6se is like but my CG5 is very loud. It makes observing in my back garden, surrounded by close neighbours impossible late at night.
