Meteor Tonight

I really had trouble with dewing tonight, so i went indoors and made a cup of coffee. Went back outside, and sat on my chair just looking at Cassiopeia when a meteor which left a trail came whizzing past from the East. It was the brightest one i have ever seen, and typical that i did not have my camera set up.

Did anyone else witness it at all?

No, I did not see it. A bit like the Penguine advert!

I saw one last night about ten past 7 round about Orion. We were driving home from work and I just happened to look at the side window at the right time, was very bright and perfect view as it was so clear

Saw 2 last night within 10 mins of each other at 1930 hrs - both were white, but short lived and came over the zenith from the east.

I saw a bright one on this night, going from East to South-west, and crossing close to Orion. I just looked up from the scope and saw it!
