Clear Skies - NE London

Hopefully this is the correct place to post this... Just got home and discovered that I have some (what seems) starry night sky above me.

I've had a few beers but I'm confident that I can set the scope up. LOL

If you are in London then I reckon there is a good chance that you'll some good skies.

Enjoy it while it lasts, thick cloud on its way! There is a helluva lunar halo up here though

Back in doors now... It's all clouded over but the moon was very good while it lasted.

I have to say that this telescope (130P/EQ2) that I bought just before xmas has quite literally blown me away. Plus the kids love it!!!

I've only got a little one compared to what I have read about on this forum.

I'm already spending money I do not have LOL.

Same here, huge diameter, I gawped at it for five mins. Wish I'd been able to snap it!

What have you seen? While you was outside, I was looking at Jupiter and the moon earlier on today, Just tryin go get a glimpse of Saturn,

Glad your having fun with your scope. I had clear skies earlier on but cloud came.
