After much searching and a small budget I plumped for the Sky-Watcher EXPLORER-130M 130mm (5.1") f/900 Newtonian reflector kit complete with RA Drive motor as a starter kit to see how I get on.

Hello Pitbull,

Another Wiltshire resident here! I have just took delivery of the Sky watcher explorer 130P and have just got it set up. Its really impressive and I am sure you will really like yours as well.

Let me know how the motor helps, I am tempted to buy a motor for mine as well.
