Double cluster on Xmas day

Thanks Barkis, I never tire of looking at the double too, its like the seven sisters or M42, I never tire of looking or imaging them!

I was trying out a new light pollution filter (2") from Skywatcher as i always have trouble getting the colours right using my EOS clip filter from Baader, I'm very pleased with the result, hardly any gradient at all apart from the bright moonlight which was no problem to remove.

We really have had dire skies for about two months now here in Sussex, so although it was Xmas day evening, when I saw that the skies were clear I had to do some imaging even though it was about -6 and I was half cut!:)

The double cluster was the sensible target, always good to see the colours of the red stars in the image come out.
