T-Ring choice?

Hi,

I have a Celestron T-ring for my Canon DSLR but the problem with it is that it doesn't 'click' into position very firmly. The camera can easily be rotated off this position. Im scared that if I jog the camera whilst on the telescope it may undo and fall off

Can anyone recommend a better quality T-ring for an EOS?

If it's new and is specified for Canon then its faulty. Check for dirt or a bit of metal/plastic left over from manufacturing and clean it up. If that doesn't work then return it as faulty.

Yup - it should click into position and lock. Only to be released by the lens release button on the side of the camera. Otherwise it's faulty as Bizibilder says

Hi Vacuum, just recieved a 'T' connector for my newly bought Canon 300d from FLO-(came yesterday), and it clicks when locked and is very firm only able to remove when you press the lense release button, so yours is probably faulty as mentioned.
