The image you see is monochrome, most imagers use black and White 'webcams' to grab lots of frames for avistack or register to do their magic on. Once complete the image can then be recoloured to make it look more realistic, you'll notice how the colour of people's so.ar images differ...... Personal preference. An SLR is at a disadvantage as you collect green and blue data that ca't contain any information and you can' t collect frames quick enough. If you can find an SGL member near you with a dmk it would be interesting to seevwhat it can get out of your excellent solar scope.
