NEQ6 PRO SYN SCAN MOUNT.

Hi.

I am thinking about getting a Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro Syn Scan, to mount onto a pier in my observatory.

Comments on this mount would be very welcome,as it is quite pricey.

You don't mention which scope you will use?

I have a C9.25 + spectroscope+ camera(s) on the NEQ6pro and love it!!

It just just what a good mount should do...solid and tracks/ guides very well. I can keep a target star on a 25micron slit for as long as I like....a great mount!

Control through the handcontroller/ CdC/ AstroPlanner or you can use EQMOD - both work very well.

Works like a dream, I would recommend it. And later you can also upgrade it with AstroBaby's reconditioning or Altair Astro add-on kits.
