Solar Imaging.

I am looking into buying a suitable imaging camera for use with my Solarscope 50. Can someone recommend a camera which will allow me to image the full solar disk. Thankyou.

I guess the cheapest way (by far) to get a camera with a good size sensor is with a D-SLR. CCD's which are anything like full frame are rather pricey.

Maybe try looking through the Solar Imaging section to see what kind of results people are getting with what.

The Image Source DMK range of cameras are excellent for solar work. The image size will depend on what scope you're using.

DMK41 - the disk will fit nicely. You will probably need an extension tube about 2" long if you don't want to use a diagonal.
