DBK BMP files

I have got myself confused !!! Use my DBK and Registax no problems, capture AVIs (Y800/Y800) and debayer in Registax, nice colour, no problems. When I set to capture a sequence of individual BMP files (same Y800/Y800 settings) to download into Deep Sky Stacker, my BMP files appear to be B&W. Should I be using a different set up on my DBK to capture colour BMP files, or is the colour hidden in there and I just need to figure out how to get DSS to show the colour? Thanks for your help. I think you would need to use the YUY8 setting in conjunction with the RGB24 Codec to get Colour BMPs from BMPs - but why would you want to ?

Capturing Raw files and debayering them is usually considered the most efficient method in terms of capturing.
