diy bahtinov mask

made a bahtinov mask for my 250mm newt

1st downloaded the templates from here

Bahtinov Mask Templates

then i glued them to a 1.5mm thick sheet of alluminium measuring 305mm x 305mm

then drilled pilot holes & cut the slots out roughly with a jigsaw.

lots of hours filing followed at least it was sunny

conveniently into the paintshop at work then fitted a couple of plastic screws to it

then hey presto free mask very pleased with the result
