IC 1396 - Second attempt at the 314L+

After some success this week with the 314L and wide filed I decided to have a go at another big object so had a bash at IC1396 a massive 2+ degrees almost 4 times wider than the moon...

I used my favourite lens (Sigma 100-300 EX DG) stopped down to f/5.6 and my little conversion adapter.. HERE

Here is 14 x 10mins stack using an Astronomik Ha Filter and camera running at -10 degrees.

No Darks-No Flats – No Bias ... And 99% full Moon!

Am a very happy chappy! cant wait to start RGB... :)
