ARTEMIS 285 Pin Outs?

Does anyone have the pin outs for the ARTEMIS 285 please?

Ive checked mine and come up with this diagram, but I want to know what each pin is carrying.

From what ive read, two of them are for carrying the 5v for the peltier, the other 2 are 12v for the camera.

Probably best to test it with a multimeter to figure out which is which. Why? Are you planning on making up your own PSU or extension to the power cable?

Well I am getting some funny images from the camera lately. It was suggested it could be a power supply issue.

What I get is a gradiated moise at the bottom along one side of an exposure.

theres no light getting in to the 285 and I've done this with the Lens Cap on ( efectively taking a Dark) and I cannot see the effect then.

Looks like it may have been a power supply problem and osing the 5v to the cooling.

Have rewired a new power lead - just need a clear night to test it now

That's what you get with no cooling, the readout section of the CCD accumulates dark current that increases as the data is read out. So it looks as if the camera's getting 12V but not 5V (or it's not getting to the Peltier). Chris

rewired to a new power supply and now all is working fine...PHEW!
