Dew - secondary mirror

Dry (ish) run last night with new lightbridge scope now it has been cleaned and rebuilt. No chance of seeing anything but I tested the power supply (maplins jump starter) and lined everything up.

In just ten minutes, there was dew on the secondary mirror so think this will need a solution long term. How could heat be applied to this area? Would a heater tape around the top LTA work or any other suggestions?

I'm going to put heat at the eyepiece using a heater tape so power etc will be no problem.

are you using a shroud? this might help.

you can buy secondary heaters which go around the actual housing (or make one) this thread might have some hints

I found a shroud worked a treat to stop the secondary fogging up.
