Moons of Jupiter

Hi, new to the forum and just getting into imaging with Neximage on Celestron CPC 925. Would welcome advice on how I can get Jupiter and moons to both show in captures. I can either get Jupiter at the correct exposure but see no moons, or totally over expose Jupiter but then I can get the moons. I am doing some basic processing in Registax 5. Your help is appreciated.

If you have use of PhotoShop you can combine images where you have one correct exposure for the planet with another, longer exposure image, of the moons.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have photoshop. Any other way of doing this?

With a webcam and stacking the results in Registax? Worked for me.

Do you see the moons on your capture image or do they only come visible after processing? I see nothing on my capture images as they dissapear when I set the capture to not over expose Jupiter.

Try Gimp instead of Photoshop, it's free.
