Chipped secondary

Yes to both...don't try to remove the glued chip you may do more damage!

A couple of goes with a Texta should cover the surface nicely...

I've washed the secondary in a bowl of lightly soaped water, wiped once with a wet cotton wool ball, and then rinsed off with cool water. It now looks very clean with no fingerprints or other marks. It's currently drying. The chipped piece which I glued on actually came off in the water. I won't be sticking it again, just filling the dent in with black marker.

Ahh I feel bad for sugesting the glue not but I see all is well and the chip has come off again..

Hope the paint works Sirius :D

Don't feel bad. It's not yours or anyone else's fault. My Mum had suggested the idea to me before anyone else mentioned it anyway. It seemed like a good idea. The mirror looks OK now and the paint has all gone OK so here's hoping.
