Comet Hartley 103p

Hi,

Just imaged this so here is a version with the stacking centred on the comet and one with the stacking done using stars for alignment....fast little [removed word]!

I quite enjoyed imaging this one...its about 6 x 120 secs on the luminance with the 80ED SW and the ART285 camera.

Great image. And there's a really nice little spiral galaxy just to the lower right of the comet.

Really nice Neil - I've only ever seen comet images tracking the comet, but I like the second one (tracking the stars) best.

I quite like the second...I want to know what that Galaxy is.

The only other Comet I have done was the really bright one that suddenly jumped in brightness (how can I forget its name???) a couple of years ago.

I´ll keep practising though and try to process it a bit better when I have time!
