Help with profile pic

Hi everyone,

I've been struggling with this problem since i joined a few months ago

Basically i've tried to upload my own profile pic, and in the control panel on my settings it shows my chosen pic, but whenever i post on a thread the pic doesn't appear

It probably has to be an image format like jpeg or gif, rather than a pdf?

You may be getting mixed up between a profile picture and your avatar. The avatar is a separate image which appears in every post (if you wish it to). This can be set up by clicking "Control Panel", "Edit Avatar", and you can add a picture to appear in each post there. I hope I have understood your problem, and that this will answer you.

check these two settings out in your profile

profile privacy -> Profile picture -> "everyone"

and

edit options -> Thread Display Options -> Show Avatars

iamjulien: that was just a screenshot of my settings showing my profile pic

paxo: i think that was the problem. ive now added an avatar pic so hopefullly it should appear in this post!
