Modded Logitech Webcam

Hi all,

I have just modded a Logitech QuickCam so it is like the one in this video, with a 1.25" film canister as the tube.

However, i would like to be able to add filters onto the end of the webcam to get a better image. I do not really want to use am eye piece as the tube, however.

Would i be able to glue one of the following onto the webcam directly, instead, so that i can use the other end to attach the filter?
