for NGC 6946 to pass Meridian last night I had a go at the old favourite M57....

Details- Modded Canon 1000D 35x2mins ISO 800, scope 190MN, fiderguider/PHD, stacked in DSS, well cropped then fiddling of image in PS.

Very nice. You even got the central star which i believe is difficult to get.
