Hi all,

Just a quick processing of an avi made early this morning. Really am pleased with this result compared to what I was getting on 250810. I think I have even imaged a satellite towards the right of the image? Used a Toucam and Tal x2 Barlow coupled to a C8 SCT.

After a succession of unsatisfactory images I really could............with joy, but I wont! I had to give the Toucam sensor a clean and slightly tweak the C8`s optics. These are my first real images with the C8 and I love it. Hope to post lots more images. Also had lovely views of M13 and M17 last night......and I found Uranus!

Thankyou so much. I have been trying for some time now to get a decent image. Hopefully it`s a start anyway. I had hoped to get the red spot tonight...but you`ve guessed it...overcast:(.

Very nice image Ralph, shows some good detail and colour. As you have indicated I think that you have captured Io . If I have got the time (00:03 U.T) and Jupiter the correct way around this is what the software shows.

Thanks for looking David. Checked calsky and yes I think it is Io. That was a bonus, I didn`t realise it was there until avi was processed!
