Part 1 - North American

This was actually the last of three images I took last night. The Swan and Eagle and the veil nebula were the other two. I processed this first as I thought that it would give me less trouble to process.

Its only my second attempt at processing anything in PixInsight following Harrys great tutorials.

With the moon at roughly 75% last night and quite high in the sky when I took these, I am really looking forward to trying again when there is no moon.

18 x 2mins exp

ISO 800 @ f5

75-300 Canon Lense @ 180 (unguided)

10 x darks

10 x Bias

No flats.

Nebula could do with bit more colour have you got to the saturation boost yet

I did but actually toned it back a bit as I thought it was a little to much at first. I will give it another boost and see how it comes out.

A little more saturation, maybe a little too much.
