Is this taken with your 200 newt? If so then surely if your using 2X barlow it should be much larger? Have you used the 640x480 format? This looks more like a 320x240 scale?

i did use a 2x barlow and yes it was on my 200p, please bear in mind i am a total noob at this and i was following a guide and it suggested using the 320x240 settings i have not tried any other resolutions (but i will now!) it had not occoured to me to try the other settings as i was just getting to grips with actually getting some detail,this is exactly why i posted this,in the hope of some good advice, many thanks!

No worries my friend! You should get some very good results with 640x480. Using the smaller scale is like driving a Ferrari in 2nd gear

your scope is f5 if i`m not mistaken, you might get better results with a 4 x barlow or imagemate as you want to increse the f ratio of the scope to f30 or f40 for planets and reduce the ration for DSO`s
