star trails rough and ready

here are the first pics canon300d of an accidental star trail as i did not have the motor drive running

forgot to mention i have not adjusted these in any program!!

A useful set of shots, now you know how many stars your camera can see at different

exposure lenghts.

If you can see it, point you camera at the pole star and take a long exposure (motor off)

You will get star trails going around the pole.

Also, a good deliberate trail is of Orion when its up. The trails show up in various different colours 8)

Very complicated and yet again very versatile

altogether an excellent choice and i am very pleased

out of 10 10/10

just need to get more used to it
