First Jupiter , with a DSLR , lol

Mucking about with the new mount ( EQ5P) , saw Jupiter clear a tree and thought have a go . Next time I will need to use the QHY5v . Justed wanted to see if you could get an image using a DSLR.

Curiously enough, I tried some DSLR pics of Jupiter at the end of my session this morning. Got nothing but a fuzzy blob, so I am really impressed with your results

Nice image.

It sometimes does surprise me that people think you cannot image a planet with a DSLR, after all, everybody used an SLR in the past, and the photon efficiency of film is very poor compared to even a CMOS chip.
