Grap and Go Tripod suggestions please

Hiya

Im looking for a G&G tripod for the Zs66.

Either Alt /Az or Gem and would value any comments,links you may have.

At the moment i am using it on a photo tripod and it isnt the most stable platform but it suffices.

The main thing is,it has to be fairly light and stable

The WO EZtouch can be mounted on a photo tripod.

The EZ Touch is a great mount, also consider the GiroII/Giro Mini or on the budget side the AZ3. To be honest any decent (manfrotto) photo tripod/fluid head combo will work well with such a small scope as the ZS66

I use an AZ-3 mount with my ED80 and it seems to work fine. The altitude nut needs to be tightened occasionally so that the scope handles viewing the zenith OK (ie: stays put !). The mount is fitted with slow motion controls on both axis which are handy - I can use the scope at 150x fairly easily.

Looks like the Az3 is a likely candidate (as much as i would like a Ez touch),I will have to see what Santa brings me
