Good quality LP filter?

Evening all, just wondering, where i live i am getting quite a lot of light pollution atm so want to purchase a new LP filter as i broke my old one! well my dog ate it actually!

I am looking for one that will greatly reduce the LP as well as give me a lot higher contrast for galaxies etc..

Any Ideas? i am willing to go second hand if thats possible.

Whilst I can't recommend one, new to this game, I asked a similar question under the thread Baader light pollution filters , might be worth you giving that a quick view.

I am very happy with my Skywatcher 2" LPF that I got from FLO. Very nice contrast with it, and it seems to complement my Castell 2" UHC very well indeed (which has heavier contrast). Both excellent value.

Due to the clouds I haven't done a lot with them so far, but would buy both again like a shot.

I haven't tried the Skywatcher LPF in a bigger 'scope to be able to say how much benefit it would be, but I should think it would still be worthwhile tbh.
