Toilet/changing tent

At SGL5 I noticed a lot of people had toilet/changing tents. At first I wondered if people had learned from experience of last years chilli and had come prepared!

However, closer inspection revealed that many of you were using toilet tents for storing your scope. I surmise the plan is to align the mount on the first night, then place the toilet tent over it during the day, simply moving the tent out of the way as dusk falls.

Where is the cheapest place to get these tents? Are there any alternatives?

I used heavy duty bin bags but the toilet tent seems a very good idea

Kyam Utility Tent, the best 80 quid Ive spent in ages.

Pops up in minutes, built like a brick khazi has a big door so you can set the scope up, then just lift the whole tent and walk it over your scope, close the door and peg out the guys, then go to sleep in your own tent:D

Several places sell these fibreglass pole models for around £29.99

Are this type of fibreglass pole toilet tent suitable for this use, or are the rigid pole toilet tents needed?

I got mine from a camping shop - cost about £30 I believe - its rigid ally poles - I believe Argo sell a similar model...

Just goes nicely over the EQ6 + scopes when the tripod isn't raised.

Davan in Weston-S-Mare are selling Utility tents for £50, 2 metres square and over 2 metres tall makes for a good cover for your scopes.
