I hope it's analysed while it's fresh - if it is a meteorite then falls, of this type are extremely rare - it actually belongs to the owners of the Cricket Ground and, when they work out it's potential value, my guess is that they might just want it back - fragments of the Barwell meteorite (total found = approx 45 kg) have a market value of around $100 per gram and that was just an "ordinary" chondrite - if it's of Lunar or Martian origin the market value could escalate to $2,000 per gram or more !.

One of the blokes got hit by a piece of it bouncing of the ground - lucky escape there I think!
