I have the 100r and the optics are really good, but in this case I would go for the extra aperture. The extra 20mm should make a difference.

I think I'm on record as saying my TAL 100 is so good its the only scope I would never sell.

Mine has impressed me so much that after Salisbury I might actually sell as many of my other scopes as are needed to sell to raise the cash for the TAL 125R
