Captured another 2hrs of OIII subs on the shortest night of the year making this a bit over 8hrs so far.

Very nice image, well worth the time and patience. Nice detail in the trunk and in the dark sections.

How do you find the quality of your OIII data against a blue sky? Is it noisy, or almost as good as against a dark sky?

Thanks Kate and Steve. Steve - the OIII data is not great at the moment, I’ve had to ditch a few subs at the beginning of the imaging run (started it at 11.10pm) and I still need a couple of nights worth of additional OIII before starting the SII.

Like you I find OIII to be the hardest to get decent quality on when the nights are short.

This looks so good in NB. The Hi.Res. Version is exceptional.

It's Incredible how summer skies can yield such quality via these Narrowband Filters.
