What a mess !

Here is my first attempt at using DSS this is M13 10 Bias, 10 Darks, 10 Lights and 10 Images

what a mess

Any ideas what is happening here?

Played with it in cs3. Curves and levels, but I'm sure an expert could improve it more. I cropped the edge a bit too.

That is a rather large improvement ! when i tried to tinker in PS everything appeared to be posterising quite badly, did you get the same?

Never even attempted this before but another levels tweak using the levels in PS 7 from Barkis' adjustments just for fun

I haven't even got a camera or setup to image with but it is certainly helping me make decisions as to what to do and when I do how to do it.

Well after a bit of tweaking and reading i have got to this, but Im not sure why the image appears to be very flat in colour as the original subs do have different coloured stars
