DSI IIc, 8 off 5min subs, 20 darks. Taken on Explorer 200P. Finderguider/SPC900/PHD guided.

As luck had it I seemed to have successfully synchronised myself with bands of cloud coming at 5 minute intervals, so the last 15s of every sub saw the DSO slowly disappear. That takes skill.

I wasn't sure there was anything in this so I've used the data for the past 2 nights playing with settings in DSS and CS3 to see what all the check boxes do.

Lovely colour! That's one of those pictures I really enjoy - an object I've seen through a telescope but which looks SO much better in a stacked photograph
