NGC 4755: The Jewel Box

A welcome return to e-sketching, now becoming very familiar with the Jewel Box I thought it about time I recorded my viewing. Whilst not reaching much above 10 dergrees from the horizon, I have been lucky enough to be able to make out individual stars (or groups of stars) within the cluster which resides beside the Southern Cross. it really is a beautiful sight which well lives up to its name. I hope some day to see it in its full glory through a much larger telescope and at a far more favourable elevation.

Can't say as I saw a red garnet! Probably due to the box being so low, I'll keep on looking as she's available, and once I spot it I'll update the e-sketch.
