Flippin' Mirror help

Hello:

Last night finally got a bit of clearer skies after about 2 weeks,

Went out with my 9.5 SCT and DBK 21 to try my luck imaging Saturn again. Also tried out my new motorized focusser.

I was trying out my new flip mirror and 12mm reticle eyepiece with a 2x Barlow...to try and get a larger scale image...couldn't get things to work right. Would it help to try and sort out the bugs by doing some imaging with this gear in the daytime?

Did manage to get some avi's (without Barlow), but had not noticed scope was dewing up(did have dew shield on). This left a kind of ghost artifact on left side of image...Oh well, the motorized focusser works great!

Whatever problems you are having thats a great image anyway

Doesnt do any harm practicing with equiptment and techniques during daytime, so I would say yes to that.
