M3 & M13 Globs

Its seems like months since I posted some images..

Last night I managed to get out and image 2 easy targets without guiding equipment.

M3 & then M13 as it got higher up.. :)

HEQ5 Pro, Meade 127 Apo, 40D,

30(M3) 35(M13) x 105 seconds ,ISO1600, darks,Flats & Bias

15'+ seconds across ans just visible in a 40D viewfinder fitted with a CLS filter I'd say yes :)

Not Bad Guy, just get them centered a little more. M3 is better defined. Just waiting for a nice time window for M13.

They were centred.. The wide fields are cropped 30%, wanted to get the interesting stars in.. ;)

I think I should also drop the 'rule of 3rd's' as this isn't terrestrial photography :)

no seriously - that triplet is an impressive piece of kit & it should be for £1300. For that price I would want the World as well ;)
