Mars - 19th April 2010

Really great night tonight so had a quick peak at Mars and it showed quite a bit of detail.

8" F/6 newtonian at x300.

19th April 2010, 20:00UT

CM=333', seeing = AII

Hellas was very bright - a little brighter than the North polar cap, Libya stood out too.

That's an impressive amount of detailed pulled. It's amazing just how much Mars is still showing despite it's small disk size. Really nice work!

Great sketch Dweller...and just when I thought you'd packed it in with Mars !!

You've got a superb amount of detail captured there. Good work. Worth keeping an eye on still when the seeing is good.
